Al The Shadow Alchemists' Shady Alley Shop - Demo

Al the Shadow Alchemist’s Shady Alley Shop (A.S.A.S.A.S.) is a crafting game where Al—an unlicensed alchemist—sells potions out of a dumpster. The potions alter a person’s shadow which affects their real-world body. Al himself does not have a shadow and has to sell these potions to keep some semblance of color to his skin. He does not know how he lost his shadow but with time and his new business he plans to locate it and the villain who left him this way.

This is a demo with only the main game loop implemented. Additional mechanics like ingredients managements, unlocking upgrades, quest lines etc. will be added in the full version.

Made as an entry for the July 2024 Pirate Software Jam. Theme: Shadow + Alchemy
